1. Membership

Membership continues until terminated. Access requires an internet connection, a compatible device, and a valid payment method. Unless you cancel before your billing date, you authorise us to charge the membership fee for the next billing cycle to your payment method.

Multiple membership plans are available, some through third parties. VetTutor is not responsible for third-party products or services. Access details are shown in your account settings.

Promotional offers are granted at VetTutor's sole discretion and may be revoked. Members with a recent VetTutor membership may not be eligible for certain introductory offers; device, payment method, or email may determine eligibility.

2. Billing and Cancellation

Fees are charged on the dates shown in your settings. The length of your billing cycle depends on the subscription you chose at sign-up. Payment dates may change due to a failed settlement, a plan change, or your enrolment date.

You must provide a valid payment method and authorise us to charge any payment method on your account if the primary one is declined. Failed payments may suspend access.

You can cancel your membership at any time and will keep access through the end of your billing period. Payments are non-refundable and there are no credits for partial periods.

24-hour refund: if you cancel within 24 hours of enrolling and before using any part of the database or member content, we will refund your subscription price less a processing fee of GBP £10. Email info@vettutor.co.uk with your login and payment date.

We may change our plans and prices from time to time; any change applies no earlier than 30 days after notice to you.

3. The VetTutor Service

Members must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction. Minors require adult supervision.

The service is for your personal, non-commercial use only and may not be shared with anyone not subscribed to VetTutor. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the service and view its content. Your enrolment cannot be shared, sold, or transferred.

Prohibited activities include: reproducing, distributing, modifying, displaying, publishing, licensing, selling, or creating derivative works from the content; circumventing content protections; using automated access tools; reverse engineering; and uploading malware or code designed to disrupt the service.

The account owner is responsible for all activity on the account and should keep their password and payment details private. You must notify us of any unauthorised use. We may terminate or freeze accounts to prevent fraud.

The service is provided 'as is' and without warranty. It may not be uninterrupted or error-free. Non-waivable consumer protections remain enforceable.

4. Intellectual Property

All study material and content available through VetTutor (including information, software, text, images, video and audio, and the design, selection and arrangement of it) is the property of Sophleo Ventures Ltd and is protected by United Kingdom and international copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.

During membership you have personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, share, post, publish, upload, transmit, create derivative works of, modify, or sell any VetTutor content, in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of Sophleo Ventures Ltd. Violations may lead to account suspension and civil or criminal proceedings.

You are not permitted to conduct, facilitate, authorise or permit any text or data mining or web scraping in relation to our site or any services provided via, or in relation to, our site for any purpose, including the development, training, fine-tuning or validation of AI systems or models.

No AI training. Without in any way limiting Sophleo Ventures Ltd's exclusive rights under copyright, any use of VetTutor content to "train" generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, or to develop, improve or evaluate machine learning or language models, is expressly prohibited. Sophleo Ventures Ltd reserves all rights to license such uses, and no such use is permitted without its prior written consent.

Upon cancellation your limited rights cease, and you must destroy any hard copies and permanently delete any downloaded content.

VetTutor and other marks and logos are trademarks of Sophleo Ventures Ltd and may not be used without prior written consent. The "VetTutor" name and logo are registered trademarks (UK Trademark No. UK00003829975). Use of the VetTutor name, logo, or brand assets without the prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

The enforceability of the restrictions in this section depends on your acceptance of these terms. By signing up for a trial or paid subscription to VetTutor, you acknowledge and confirm your acceptance of these terms by ticking your acknowledgement of these conditions, including the restrictions set out in this section.

5. VetTutor Guarantee

VetTutor guarantees confidence in its question bank: if you do not pass your exam on your first attempt, you are entitled to a free resubscription to the relevant question bank. No questions asked, subject to the eligibility criteria below.

• Applies only to UK veterinary school finals.
• Does not apply to exams in any other country.
• Does not apply to RCVS Statutory Membership Examinations (SME) or any other RCVS examinations.

Eligibility Criteria. To qualify for the guarantee, all of the following must be met:

• Correct subscription: You held an active subscription to the correct 12-month question bank matching the exam you sat.
• Timely claim: You contact VetTutor within one month of receiving your exam results.
• Reasonable use: You completed more than 70% of the relevant question bank and study notes prior to your exam date.
• Proof of results: You provide a scanned copy of your official results letter from your university.

How to Claim. Email info@vettutor.co.uk with:

• Confirmation of the exam sat and subscription held
• Your scanned university results letter
• Any other supporting information requested

What You Receive. A free resubscription to the same 12-month question bank, applied once eligibility is confirmed.

General Conditions. The guarantee applies to your first attempt only. VetTutor reserves the right to verify completion rates via account usage data. The guarantee is non-transferable and limited to one resubscription per eligible failed attempt. VetTutor reserves the right to decline claims that do not meet the above criteria, at its reasonable discretion.

6. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VetTutor, Sophleo Ventures Ltd, and associated parties against claims arising from your breach of these terms, your use of the service or its content, or your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

7. Miscellaneous

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.

We may change these terms from time to time and will notify you at least 30 days before changes apply to you.

We send account information (payment authorisations, invoices, password or payment changes, confirmations, notices) in electronic form only, for example by email to the address you registered.

If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable.
