We began when an equine veterinary surgeon and a medical doctor joined forces, both believing the resources students relied on were not good enough, not affordable and not user friendly. We are the UK's first veterinary education platform to deliver high quality educational resources using evidence based revision strategies.

VetTutor seeks a student from each year at every veterinary school across the UK to serve as the representative for their cohort. Each year, veterinary students go through a lot of needless stress because they do not have adequate, reliable study resources or mock questions for their clinical exams.

What you will do
A very small time commitment, around 5 to 7 hours over a whole year
Sharing posts on your university's local channels: Facebook groups, email newsletters, WhatsApp groups and more
All posts and materials are prepared for you, so it is simply a matter of copying and pasting our templates

VetTutor has an active, ongoing programme of adding to and improving our content, and we are always adding new ways for you to contribute. Questions are written by qualified vets, or by students who have passed their final exams in that speciality. You can create original material that is neither copied nor derived from existing publications, websites or other sources
You have excellent written English skills
You are willing to make changes following comments from our experienced editors

Questions and answers on the Qbank are peer reviewed by our expert team, and we are always looking for experts in the field to join us. We currently have vets with a specialist interest in exotics, farm, equine and small animal. There is a rigorous 10 point checklist for question answers, followed by a detailed professional editorial process, before a question is added to the platform.

You only review questions based on the animals you are experienced working with. For example, an equine or conservation vet would not review a question on feline FLUTD
Timing considerations apply for certain exams, such as the NAVLE and Finals, which we will talk through with you
Authors with previously published questions are eligible for the editorial team
You are willing to communicate significant changes or concerns to the question writer, when needed
